Joanne has lived in Pullman since 1992. She has been working as a faculty
member for International Programs at Washington State University for 15
years. Before moving to Pullman, Joanne lived in Tokyo for seven years and
in Mexico City for two.
She and her family originally moved to the Palouse for her husband to attend
graduate school. They grew to love the Palouse and the community of Pullman.
Joanne has two children who are attending elementary and middle school in
the Pullman School District.
